About
Orboro.net is a personal blog of gamer and web developer Justin Musick. The first versions of Orboro.net were established in 1999 while learning web development. Since then, I have kept the domain in tact and used it as personal experiments as I continue to explore technology, friendships, gaming, communication and most of all myself.
My goal is to provide opinions, information and news about games, e-sports, technology and my other interests from an independent gamer not influenced by promotions, career choices and compromises associated with mainstream gaming websites and the inflated and unrealistic reviews/scores that this creates. The opinions within are my own and while I will never claim to be “right” all the time, I base my beliefs and opinions off sound reason and deduction.
I play mostly competitive games such as Starcraft II, Street Fighter series but also delve into MMORPG’s and other games as well.
The name – Orboro.net
I decided on the name Orboro.net based on one of my favorite games as a kid, Shinobi for Sega Genesis. It was the clan or Ninja that the main character was a part of. Years later, I realized I didn’t even spell it right. It’s actually spelled “oreboro” but this name has stuck with me ever since.
